Hot Tub Time Machine

So anyway. About a year ago, we watched the movie Hot Tub Time Machine. It was interesting. I noticed something really interesting in it. The movie was supposedly set in California. I say supposedly, cause I noticed this near the end of the movie:

The credit card he is about to use looks like the one in my wallet. And when he is putting the card back in his wallet, you see the card very clearly:

Capitol Federal Savings. That is my bank, which is only found in Kansas (well according to their site, there’s one location in MO). So how would a man living in California, have a card that is from a bank that is only in Kansas?!?!
